Q: What is the purpose of Spamnesty International?
A: To change the way we deal with spam. Spam has been pushed in the direction of evil and is being regarded as digital terrorism by a lot of people. We see it as a mirror of humanity. Spam has not been invented by aliens and it works. Otherwise it would disappear. Why should we let it enerve us? Let's treat it like other very disturbing phenomena the human race has come up with that are equally resitant to intelligence. Things like carneval, Valentines Day, new years eve celebrations, the people honk when someone got married ... all of these things intrude the private life of people, whether they have asked for it or not. And what's more, these phenomena are generally accepted by the majority of people. All of that is spam.And how do we treat it? We generally drink a lot, have some fun and make money out of it. Let's go.
